In mid-1993, our founding fathers had the idea of doing aluminium wire business after a light discussion with their friends. By late 1993, they started drafting and sketching business plans starting from its market size, customer database to what aluminium wire business potentially looks like in the next 10 years.

After 2 years of planning and searching for suppliers, we imported our first aluminium wires from Europe. Our first customers were primarily vacuum metalizing companies.

With the rapid market growth and changing trends, customers start having special requests. We were also introduced to many potential aluminium wire applications. By then, we decided to extend our business and start manufacturing our own aluminium wires.

In 2002, we started our production line of aluminium wires to better fulfill customer’s needs & requests. This enables our team to engineer the performance of our wires to add value to our customers. Subsequently, AJMet continues to perfect the quality of our aluminium wires and expand our business to new applications until today.

Today, AJMet is the leading aluminium wire supplier in Indonesia with production capacity of high purity aluminium wire exceeding 3,500 MT per year. Our wires are known for their quality and performance. Aside from vacuum metalizing, we vary in applications, such as Binding Wires, Bonsai Wires, Rivets, Welding and Thermal Spray Aluminium (TSA).
